The artist team of Norma Greenwood and Maureen Healy of New York City created the artwork surrounding the entrance of two restrooms in Concourse A.
Each entrance is a photographic image digitized and then translated into pixels of colored Venetian glass. When viewed from several feet, the individual tiles blend visually and the overall pictorial image is read; yet, when viewed from a distance of just one or two feet, the image is seen as a grid of harmonious and randomly-placed colored squares.
